STD is an abbreviation for sexually transmitted diseases or infections passed from one person to another through sexual contact with several common symptoms like:
- Burning sensation while you pee: The most common symptom of an STD is feeling a burning sensation while you are peeing. It is also a symptom of urinary tract infection (UTI), treatable with antibiotics.
- Unusual discharge: In the discharge department of women’s health, you know what is normal for you and what is not. A heavy and unusual discharge from the vagina is considered a symptom of an STD.
- Abnormal vaginal bleeding: Bleeding without periods is definitely an alarm and STDs can be put to blame. Due to high-risk HPV affecting the cervix, it can cause bleeding after sex.
- Pain during intercourse: Painful sex is a tip to consider that something is not good for your health. Infections and inflammations can result in pain during intercourse.
- Vaginal burning or itching: Swelling, itching, burning, and pain around your vulva, vaginal, or anus are the common symptoms of STDs.
